This can make giving recommendations difficult, but there are some general rules to follow that will apply universally.
First, you should always consider and prioritize when possibleFaction bonuses.
Additionally, you should keep in mindFaction Strategies.
Each Faction isstrong or weak against one other Faction.
For example, Lightbearers are strong against Maulers but weak to Graveborn.
When a Faction is strong against another, it willdeal 15 percent more damage.
When a Faction is weak to another, it willtake 15 percent more damagefrom them.
This means including aTank, Healer, DPS, Buffer, and Debuffer.
Lots of strong characters can play multiple roles.
These characters will afford you more flexible spots to include anything else you may need for a particular battle.
Of course, there are some characters that are better at doing these things than others.
You’ll almost always want to use aTank,Healer, and at leasttwo strong DPS characters.
