One key item you might obtain is the UV Lantern.
What Is The UV Lantern?
Unlike the Lantern,the UV Lantern does not dispel darkness.
Illuminated creatures will not be affected by its glow.
Also, shadow monsters will still damage you when you get too close to them.
Also, holding the UV Lantern in a dark area will not make it bright enoughto see your Map.
When you get the UV Lantern, you shouldgo back to the past locations you’ve visited.
You may find images that you previously could not see under regular light.
You won’t be able to get the UV Lantern, however, without firstsecuring the E medal.
so you can unlock the area,you’ll first need tolight all nine candlesscattered around your map.
you’re able to alsotravel to this room quickly by going through the Squirrel headin the warp hub.
Once all the candles have been lit, a barrier beneath them will open up.
Go inside the bubble, and you will be taken to a new area in the south.
Break the spikes using yourDisc,Yoyo, or Top.
You will see a chest on top of the platform.Head for the chest quickly.
initiate the chestto obtain theE medalinside.
Where Do You Place The E Medal?
The area you oughta take your E medal to ispast theSeahorse bossin the southwestsection of the map.
A quick way to the Seahorse boss area is touse yourAnimal Flute.
Play the following notes to fast travel to the warp hub: .Go through the Shark mouthfrom there.
Then,use the lever above to pop pop the barrierto your left.
The area you should probably go to is below.
East of the room containing the B. Flame is an area with another shark transport pipe.
Go into the entrance on the upper right.
You’ll see that the area you’re in is actually a path leading to the E medal slot.
Once you’ve made it through,place the E medal into the slot.
A path leading to a lower level will reveal itself.Go downto the next area.
How To Beat The Eel Boss
The Eel boss will remain dormant until you wake it up.
Play your flute to wake the Eel boss up.
It will start swimming around the room while trying to get close enough to eat you.
ensure toavoid its attacks by hopping across the different surfacesin the room.
This is actuallya code it’s crucial that you play on your Animal Flute.
Play the code correctlyin order to successfully defeat the Eel boss.
when you land beaten the boss, it will exit the area momentarily.
When it comes back,it will no longer be hostile.
It will position itself in the upper section of the room above the platforms.
The tiny room you will find yourself in contains the UV Lantern.Open it to obtain it.
Using it in the room will reveal a cute smiley face on the wall.
The UV Lantern will be your tool toget out of the area without having to use your Animal Flute.
