Party of One
In his monologue, Withers congratulates the player for essentially saving Faerun without assistance.
The rare dialogue is as follows:
Thou hast arrived.
Some call you “saviour”.
Others “adventurer” - or “adversary.”
But under this night’s sky, upon familiar ground, thou mayest simply be called friend.
Though the weight of the realms were great, thy shoulders bore them admirably.
Take rest, as no quill will record thy steps tonight, nor any god rally thy duty.
Go, dine, and delight in the music filling the air.
Usually, Withers ends his monologue with “Go.
Know one another once more.”
Withers will then bemoan the player’s lack of allies, and chastise them for their poor diplomacy skills.
At least I’ll always have you, Withers.
Knowing Larian, there will probably be some unannounced goodies too.
