Look, I know thatCivilization 7is currently in rough shape.
Thats not a bit.
Thats just me being stupid.
Of course, this makes no sense.
I should not be more forgiving of a version of a game just because its in virtual reality.
And those that I do love are often smaller, more directed experiences.
Thats what I want.
I want a VR game that makes me want tostay thereuntil I have to rush to the bathroom.
Potentially with the helmet still on since, as I said, augmented reality.
You never believe your city is alive, but at least its a little more magic.
I want to reiterate that I know like a lot of my virtual reality obsession, this is ridiculous.
But I also grew up withweird, terrible ports of games.
Im curious about how they pull it off.
Maybe make it more fun.
But its possible theres a third option: a good virtual reality one?
Maybe walking around my room looking at my country will make me feel more like a great leader.
Maybe seeing things pop-up in my room will push back against the current sterile feel of the game.
No matter what, Im curious how they pull off Civilization in 3D.
Hard to say from the trailer, but Im willing to give it a shot.
Not because I think itll automatically be fantastic, because itll be interesting.
And at this point in my life, I just want something that is at leasttrying.
Do I honestly think its going to make a world of a difference?
But I love supporting games like this.
But I also love a big swing.
I love a weird take on a subject.
