There are 40 hordes to take down inDays Gone.
It is mandatory that you destroy three of these hordes as part of the main story.
Hordes are a big selling point of Days Gone, permitting Deacon can find them.

Cascade Region Hordes Locations
The Cascade Region hasa total of eight hordes.

Horse Lake Horde

Near the Jefferson Rail Tunnel Ambush Camp.
Fast-travel to that location and simplyhead down south, andyou will quickly come across the horde.

White King Mine Horde
This horde is situated directlywest of the Jefferson Rail Tunnel Ambush camp.

Cascade Highway Horde
To find this horde, headeast of O’Leary Mountain.
The horde isnorth of the Horse Creek Ambush Camp.
The Belknap Region Hordes Locations
There area total of seven hordesinhabiting the Belknap region.
Some of these hordes will be more populated than those in the Cascade region.
The difficulty level is slightly more elevated here.
Shadow Lake Horde
The Shadow Lake Horde isnorth of Marion Forks.
Thereis even a Nero checkpoint nearby that you might fast-travel to to make it reach it faster.
Bear Creek Hot Springs Horde
This horde is directlywest of the Bear Creek Hot Springs Ambush Camp.
Patjens Lake Horde

Situatednorthwest of Hot Springs, Tucker’s camp.
Marion Forks Horde
North of Marion Forks, you will find the Marion Forks horde.
If you haven’t cleared the infestation zone yet, this can be aparticularly dangerous zoneto roam around in.
Lava Arch Horde
The Lava Arch horde is justsouth of Marion Forks and east of the Hot Springs camp.
Days Gone is another game that drops players into an expansive world filled with enemies.

Iron Butte Resort Horde

Near the warehouses in Iron Butte.North of the Redwood RV Park Ambush Camp.
Wapinitia Road Horde
The Wapinitia Road horde isnorth of the Berley Lake Ambush Camp.
Berley Lake Horde
This horde is locatedbetween the Old Sawmill Nero Checkpoint and the Santiam Tunnel Nero Checkpoint.
Old Sawmill Horde

Head to theOld Sawmillto defeat this horde.
There is a Nero checkpoint close by you’re free to fast-travel to.
Old Sawmill Hordeisthe biggest and most challenginghorde in the game.
It’s time to clean some nests.
The Crater Lake Region Hordes Locations
There arethree hordesin this region.
Although it may not seem like much, these hordes are very threatening due to theirlarge numbers of Swarmers.
The Southern part of the map is significantly more dangerous.
Thankfully, you also get access tomore powerful weapons and crafting recipesat this point in the game.
However, due to their size, it’s important toplan carefullybefore facing these larger hordes.
They can easily overwhelm you and take you down in a matter of seconds.
Bailey Horde

The Mt.
Bailey horde can be found directlywest of the Diamond Lake Encampment.
Rimview Ranch Horde
Headsouth of the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway Nero Checkpointto encounter this horde.
Plus, not only are hordes plentiful here, but they are also large ones.
Sagebrush Point Horde
This horde is at thenortheastern corner of the southern part of the map.
Beasley Lake Horde
The Beasley Lake horde isnext to the Sage Point horde just a bit further east.
Cascade Lake Rail Line Horde
North of the Chemult gas station, across the small river.
As its name indicates, it isright next to Chemult Station.
Groose Gardens Horde
South of Chemult Station.
The horde rests inside a large house.
It’s a very tough horde, and it’s alsoan infestation zoneas well as a Nero checkpoint.

Rum Rye Gulch Horde
South of Chemult Community College.
The horde can be found inside a cave.

Juniper Ridge Horde
This horde is quite similar to the Rum Rye Gulch horde.
It is located a bit further down west.
you’ve got the option to find the horde inside a warehouse.

Solomon Hill Horde
North of the Aspen Butte Ambush Camp, close to the Rimview Ranch Horde.
