I might not finish it, I might not like it, I might not understand it.
But I promise you this: I will start it.
Up until the most recent trailer though, I didn’t have much clue what I was even starting.
I didn’t know what to expect, butafter the latest trailer, I finally do.
But the new trailer makes Death Stranding 2 look like a sequel to Death Stranding.
It’s why people who love Death Stranding have been all in on this one from the very beginning.
What I hadn’t really seen a lot of is what we actually do in the game.
Lotta pointing at the screen saying, “hey look it’s Elle Fanning”.
My own thoughts have clearly begun to unfurl too, because I’m really looking forward to it.
Knowing that Death Stranding 2 is just more Death Stranding means I know what’s coming.
I feel ready to not blink for a minute this June.
And Tears of the Kingdom didn’t.
And Elden Ring didn’t.
The jury’s still out on Monster Hunter Wilds.
I get the sense Kojima would be happy enough if that was everyone’s takeaway from his work.
