Destiny 2’sSolstice event returns this year with a new armor set and refreshed weapons.
Learn how to use buffs and debuffs to drastically increase your damage output.
What Is Solstice?
As far as loot goes, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Inspecting the item will bring up a grid of bounties you’re free to purchase.
In other words,you could only have one bounty per armor jot down.Each bounty costs Silver Leaves.
Tougher bounties cost more leaves.
If your bounty options are lacking, you could reroll them for the cost of five Silver Leaves.
The bounty you complete determines what pop in of alloy you get.
Helmet bounties give Helmet Alloy, chest bounties grant Chest Alloys, etc.
You need 100 alloys of a certain throw in to forge an armor piece.
When you’re done, turn in the bounty to claim your new piece of Solstice armor.
Elemental variants are available in the Eververse store for Bright Dust.
The armor emits an elemental glow matching your subclass.Prismatic userswill glow based on their chosen Super instead.
Bonfire Bash
Bonfire Bash hasn’t changed much this year.
Ignition Carriers are marked as diamond icons on your HUD.
Head to the area, flush the adds to spawn the miniboss, and then kill the Ignition Carrier.
Ignition Carriers will drop three orbs you’ve got the option to use to light the pyre.
Pick them up and throw them towards the pyre at the center of the map.
There aren’t any mechanics to go over here.
Grab your strongest Heavy weapon and melt the boss as fast as it’s possible for you to.
When you’re done, head back to the pyre to claim your loot.
Be sure to pick up a new set of armor bounties before you dive in again.
Shorter activities drop four leaves.
Some good destinations for Public Events include theEDZ, Nessus, and the Cosmodrome.
Solstice Event Card
Solstice has 16 event challenges you could complete through the Solstice Event Card.
The challenges and title itself donotrequire Event Card ownership.

Lighting The Forge
Complete a Solstice Forge bounty.
Good Ignite
Defeat 15 Ignition Carriers in Bonfire Bash.
Torch the Taken
Defeat 15 Prismatic Taken in Bonfire Bash.
Fuel for the Fire
Stoke the flame 35 times in Bonfire Bash.
Fuel for the Fire II
Stoke the flame 70 times in Bonfire Bash.
Fuel for the Fire III
Stoke the flame 100 times in Bonfire Bash.
Forge and Reforge
Reroll Solstice bounties 5 times with Silver Leaves.
Like Wildfire
Defeat targets anywhere in the system.
Defeating Guardians awards bonus progress.
Superlative
Defeat targets with Super abilities.
Hand Lighter
Defeat targets with Hand Cannons, Shotguns, Rocket Launchers, or Bows.
Burn them Down
Defeat 40 bosses anywhere in the system.
Raking the Coals
Complete playlist activities to earn Silver Leaves.
Dare to Dream
Complete runs of the Blind Well or Dares of Eternity to earn Silver Leaves.
Brightfall
Complete Vanguard Ops or Nightfalls to earn Silver Leaves.
Fires of Competition
Complete matches in Crucible or Gambit playlists to earn Silver Leaves.
Flamekeeper
Complete all event challenges during Solstice.
