Summary
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Daima DLC, Adventure Through The Demon Realm, has had its price point and various release windows revealed thanks to aSteamlisting.
Even though it feels likeDragon Ball Daimaonly just got started, the GT-reminiscent journey through the Demon Realm is sadly ending in just a few dayswith its final episode.
While it’s a shame to have one of the best new bits of Dragon Ball content come to an end so soon, it’s far from the last time we’ll see the miniaturised versions of Goku and Vegeta.
Sparking Zeros first DLC pack is pricey, but its new batch of perfectly-realised characters from Super-Hero make it a treat for fans.
That’s because Daima is already set to appear in pretty much every Dragon Ball game on the market right now (except for FighterZ, of course). We’ve already seen Goku in Sparking Zero and Xenoverse 2, but that’s just the beginning, as both games are getting more DLC andKakarot will have the biggest DLC of all with a story-focused expansion.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Daima DLC Won’t Be Finished Until March 2026
We’ve known about Kakarot’s Adventure Through The Demon Realm DLC for some time now, including the fact that it’ll have more than just one part. Thanks to a new listing on Steam, we know for certain that the DLC will be split up into two partsinstead of three like some were suspecting with how back-loaded the series has become.
The first part, which appears to go up to Episode 8 and will likely lay the groundwork with the explorable map, will release between July and September of this year.
The second, and unarguably more exciting, part will release at some point between January and March of 2026, meaning we’re a whole year away from the DLC being over.
Part 2 of Adventure Through The Demon Realm is where we’ll see Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, so it’s definitely going to be the highlight.
Both packs are currently available for pre-order on Steam for 28.99, which nets you a little bonus collection of items for the base game.
The Steam listing also shares a bit of information about what the DLC has in store, including confirming a fully explorable Demon Realm with Glorio, Shin, and Panzy.
Interestingly, Steam also confirms that the DLC will introduce new techniques to Kakarot, including Goku’s use of the Power Pole, a Medi-Bug for “various effects”, and support from Panzy.
It’s not clear at the moment if other characters will be playable, but it does seem likely considering how big a role Vegeta will play in Part 2.
The old is new again when you play a favorite game with someone who barely knows how to hold a controller.
