Where Are The Mistwood Ruins?
If you’re unsure where to findBlaidd, he can be located early in Elden Ring.
He is in East Limgrave,standing at theMistwood Ruinsinside the forest.
This suave half-wolf will behowling from the highest point of the ruins.
Merchant Kaleis the Santa Claus-looking nomadic merchant who sits by the Church of Elleh Site of Grace.
After finding Blaidd in the ruins, you will get a new dialogue option with Merchant Kale.
Mention Blaidd to Kale and exhaust his dialogue.
This will reward you with thefinger-snapping emote.
Return to Mistwood Ruins andstand directly below where Blaidd ishowling from.
Use the finger-snapping emotehere, and he will jump down to speak with you.
How To Defeat The Forlorn Hound
This boss is located within an evergaol in Limgrave.
The Forlorn Hound Evergaol can be found in South Limgrave, just before the bridge into the Weeping Peninsula.
The closest Site of Grace is Agheel Lake South.
Once you reach the evergaol, enter it.
DefeatingBloodhound Knight Darriwilrewards you with theBloodhound’s Fangcurved sword.This is a popular weapon among the community that causes Bleed.
After you defeat Darriwil, Blaidd will be standing near the evergaol.
During your conversation, Blaidd will give you a Somber Smithing Stone (2).
He will speak ofa blacksmith you may find in Liurnia of The Lakes.
Mentioning Blaidd to this blacksmith allows the purchase of theCarian Filigreed Cresttalisman.

When Does Blaidd Appear During Ranni’s Questline?
Blaidd appears heavily inRanni the Witch’s questline.
you’re free to continuehis questline here.
This is when Ranni requests that you speak to her partners in crime.
After progressing in her quest, you’ll be asked to accompany Blaidd in finding the hidden city Nokron.
Once Ranni has given you this task, you canhead to the Siofra River Bank Site of Grace.
Past this, you’ll find Blaidd at the edge of the cliffs looking off into the distance.
Exhaust his dialogue here.
After you defeat this boss, exhaust Blaidd’s dialogue on the battlefield.
He will ask that you meet him where the meteorite fell.
Here, you’ll be tasked with killing a shadow-version of what seems to be Blaidd.
This acts as an NPC invasion of sorts.
You must defeat him here to progress to the next boss in Ranni’s quest.
If Blaidd becomes hostile before this point,it will interfere with the quest.
If you accidentally anger Blaidd earlier in the quest, head to theChurch of Vowsto reset his disposition.
Blaidd is a powerful enemy who will be a challenge to defeat.
This is located by climbing the rubble to the left of the Seluvis' Rise entrance.
Blaidd’s Royal Greatsword scales in strength, intelligence, and dexterity.
They’re more than funny little frog men.
