The mortar is used by the Alchemist, who provides crafting for spells, potions, and mana-boosting armor.
With the mortar, it’s possible for you to do a bit more crafting with this NPC.

With a backpack full of supplies, it’s time to set out to find the mortar!
If you continue north, you will be in a small Revelwood area on the side of a hill.
This routetakes you through the Shroud, where there are many enemies around level 11.
The tower isn’t located on the quest marker.
Instead, it’s slightly to the right of the Lone Thistle icon.
The highest point in Lone Thistle is where the tower is found, with the entrance pictured above.
With no enemies,we highly suggest exploring every nook and cranny,breaking crates and boxes.
There is tons of loot to pick up!
This area will be within the Shroud, but it’s just asmall room with metal bars.
On the other side of the bars, it’s possible for you to find themortar.
The button is easy to find, so we will go over that next.
Destroy these boardsand head through this opening to an outside platform.
Simply follow this platform around until you come to a new opening.
