He’s one of the toughest summons in the game and has abilities that can easily destroy your team.
Chief among them isZantetsuken,a powerful cleave from his blade that will instantly kill your entire party.
Much of your strategy for this fight will befinding ways to survive this devastating attack.
Once you summon Phoenix, dedicate one of your party members to just building ATB continuously and use Reraise.
When you aren’t desperately planning ways to survive, you should be casting debuffs on Odin.
They willbuild his stagger barand make his onslaught more bearable.
Be on the lookout forSleipnir’s Furor.
Go on the offensive and attack himuntil he’s staggered, thenunleash all your most damaging abilities.
As you progress through the fight, you may notice Odin resisting your debuffs.
Don’t panic; continue to avoid his attacks, and try other debuffs to see what works.
