After your first few story missions inGrounded, youre let loose on the whole yard.
Burgls asked you to find four labs, and find the chips contained with them.
Your time in the back yard doesn’t have to end with Grounded’s New Game Plus mode.
So far, all of your activities have been around the Oak Lab and the Lower Grasslands.
But now that youre striking out, which order should you do the labs in?
Technically, you’re able to do all four labs in any order.
Note that, in your first run of the game, the Ladybird will not be infused as shown here.
It is locatedunder the Oak tree, behind theglowing pink rubble.
On your approach to the Oak Lab, be careful of theOrb Weaver SpidersandWolf Spidersthat patrol the area.
The lab itself, though, is harmless.
Youll be coming back to the Oak Lab a lot.
Youll need to activate thebiometric scannerin the Oak Lab to access most of the other labs.
Before hitting up the Hedge Lab, chop down some dandelions and collect the tufts.
This allows to float to the floor if you fall and avoid taking damage.
Unfortunately for arachnophobes, thebig theme of the Hedge Lab isspiders.
Youll also encounter larvae on the ground, and robots both on the ground and in the lab itself.
There are also threeBombardier beetlesin the far corner of the Hedge, by the porch.
Killing a Diving Bell Spider will replenish your oxygen in a pinch.
As mentioned, time is the big enemy here.
The most important piece of equipment before heading to The Haze is theGas Mask.
There is another entrance to the Haze Lab found in a broken underwater pipe near the Haze.
This fight goes quickest if you have a decentbustingweapon.
This is where youll find Groundeds first true boss the Assistant Manager itself.
Knowing where to place your base is all part of surviving the perilous backyard in Grounded.
