Yesterday was a big day for Ubisoft and their presentation Ubisoft Forward.
Even if it did not go entirely as planned.
Uplay crashed as soon as everything started.
It seems as if Ubisoft was not prepared for the sheer numbers that would be in attendance.
Not only this, but they offered to giveWatch Dogs 2away to whoever watched.
Making it impossible for a good chunk of viewers to claim the game.
After many reports, Ubisoft stated that everyone would be receiving the game for free.
Of course, this is fantastic news, but they never directly stated when people would get it.
Ubisoft Support created a website to allow players to register for the free game.
After waiting most players still have yet to receive their copy.
Players will have until July 15 to redeem their free copy of the game.
Registering is extremely simple.
It is safe to say that those who registered will receive their free copy.
Some will receive it today while others will have to wait a day or two for theirs.
The outrage for this can be described as a bit overdramatic.
Ubisoft is giving the players a great deal with this free title that initially released in 2016.
Hopefully, by the end of this week, everyone will have their copy.
If not then there might be a bit more backlash from the community.
Not only are they giving a well-received title for free.
Ubisoft is bringing and creating a world of anticipation and hype around the upcoming title.
This was probably one of the best to announce the next game in the series.
