For better or worse,Monster Hunter Wildsis anincredibly streamlined game.
I’m not sure most players would agree.
DoesCapcomlike it this way?
Is there something unique about Monster Hunter that prevents it from streamlining multiplayer?
Themoststraightforward system to use is squads.
While its simple to use, setting it up is a whole other story.
Even better luck getting everyone to find and accept the invite in Monster Hunters endless pause menu.
Being in the same Squad Lobby doesnt mean youll be able to see your friends outside of missions.
You wont see them outside of base camp ever, and youll only see them in base camp sometimes.
Its hit or miss and you may occasionally desync.
There are far too many menus to navigate.
It feels like it doesnt need to be that way, and I cant figure out why it is.
It probably should have stuck with that for Wilds.
On top of that, you have more typical web link issues.
Players de-sync and drop out of the party mid-hunt.
Players disconnect from the lobby and cant join missions.
Your friends are standing next to you one second, and the next second they mysteriously vanish.
