Reaching the ninth Chapter inLast Epoch’scampaign will present the opportunity to join a faction.
Here’s a primer if you’re new to the ARPG genre.
Once you reach the city of Maj’elka, you will unlock the quest"Merchants and Fortune Tellers.
That Favor can then be exchanged for goods and services for that faction.
Think of it as a currency throw in that’s passively earned as you play Last Epoch.
For the Merchant’s Guild, Favor is required to make trade listings and purchase items from other players.
For the Circle of Fortune, you will need Favor to purchase Prophecies and Lenses.
Can’t decide which class to play in Last Epoch?
Here’s an overview of all five classes and each of their Masteries.
There’s a stall for weapons, specific armor pieces, accessories, etc.
Interacting with the stall’s respective vendor will bring up the auction house.
If you want to keep trading, you’ll need to keep playing.
Trade listings persist even when you’re offline.
Once the purchase clears, the item (or Gold) will be sent to your inventory immediately.

Find Erza’s Ledger to unlock one of two powerful Unique items.
This faction also allows you to target-farm certain Uniques throughLenses.
When you first enter the Observatory, you will be presented with four telescopes.
Each telescope may also be installed with up to three Lenses.
Great Lenses can even influence your Prophecy objectives.
If you’ve playedPath of Exile, Lenses fill the same role as the Atlas Passive Tree.
Lens sockets will unlock as you increase your rank with the Circle of Fortune.
you could purchase Lenses from Galila in the Observatory.
Each Lens costs a small amount of Favor.
Circle Of Fortune Rank Bonuses
+35% chance for enemies to drop 2x loot.
Runes of Ascendance have a 45% chance of being preserved when used on Circle of Fortune gear.
Idol drops have a 25% to drop two extra Idols.
When a Set item drops, the entire Set drops instead.
35% chance for 2x rewards from Monolith Echoes.
Affixes are 50% more likely to be Exalted.
Exalted items can drop with 3+ Exalted affixes with this rank bonus.
Exiled Mages drop twice as many experimental items.
Uniques are 2x more likely to have Legendary Potential.
T7 Affixes are 2x as common.
Bosses have +150% increased drop rate for any specific rewards they have.
25% chance that Rare items drop with an Exalted affix.
Prophecies grant twice as many items.
Should You Join The Merchant’s Guild Or The Circle Of Fortune?
This is also a much better faction foroffline charactersthan the Merchant’s Guild.
