What Are Memories?
Memories are collectible moments you canuse in your combat team or interact withon special story dates.
Memories are alsoadditions to the main storylineand can beplayed in the Date tabof the Deepspace Cafe menu.
Memory Rarity
The first way that memories are classified is by rarity.
There arethree rarity categoriesfor memories:
Three-starmemories are themost commonmemory rarity and will bedrawn the most frequentlyfrom Wish Pools.
While three-star memories are theeasiest to upgrade, they become less useful as you progress further into the game.
Three-star memories have thelowest stat benefitsand thefewest special interactionsof the memory types.
These memoriesdo nothave corresponding Date interactions, background imagery, or special combat buffs.
Four-star memories are middle-tier memories.
Finally,five-starmemories are the rarest throw in of memory and provide themost powerful buffs.
Five-star memories also unlock fully interactive three-dimensional stories you canplay in the Falling For Yousection of the Date tab.
Each five-star memory also has a’Kindled' momentthat it’s possible for you to replay in the Memory tab.
Five-star memories are separated into three sub-categories:Bonds, Memoria, and Myths.
Bond
Bond memories areinteractive momentsadjacent to the game’s main story arc.
Each bond memory involves a moment thatoccurs at some point in the main storytimeline.
These stories can beside-quests or one-off adventuresthat you’ve got the option to go on with each character.
Most limited-time eventmemories are five-star Memoria memories.
Myths
Finally, the third pop in of five-star memory to obtain isMyths.
Myths are stories that may take place longbefore the game’s main storyline or continue a chapter’s events.
Some myths, like Sylus and Caleb’s permanent myths, take placeduring the main storyline.
Myths are not single moments, but rathermulti-chapter storiesthat are unlocked as youobtain Myth Shardsand complete Mythic Memory pairs.
There are two types of Wish Pools to use.
The first throw in of pool is thepermanent Wish Pool, Xspace Echo.
This pool uses Empyrean Wishes and contains only permanent memories.
You will not find limited-run memories here unless they are added in a future update.
The second bang out of pool is thelimited Wish Pool.
Limited pools do not use regular Emyprean Wishes, but ratherDeepspace WishesorLimited Deepspace Wishes.
Once a Limited pool ends, any unusedDeepspace Wish: Limitedwill be turned into regularEmpyrean Wishes.
Wish Crates
Almost all Wish Pools have apull rewardssystem.
These pull rewards include specialprizes, materials, and sometimes, Wish Crates.
There are different Wish Crate rarities:SR and SSR.
SR Wish Crates only containfour-starmemories.
SSR Wish Crates only containfive-starmemories.
Wish Crates: SSR only offer thefive-star myth memoriesin Xspace Echo.
Wish crates in Xspace Echowork retroactively.
Consider saving your crates for the next character release.
For most Wish Crates, you will be able tochoose which memoryyou want when you open them.
However, some Wish Crates give you arandom memoryfrom the possible memory pool.
Events also grant Wish Crates in their pull rewards sections.
However, these crates will usually only contain thememory or memories showcased in that pool.
Event pull rewardschange from event to event, but the Xspace Echo rewards don’t.
You may just pull the memory you wanted without needing the Wish Crate.
Wish Crates are a great way to fill in your teams orcomplete Myth Pairs.
You should alwayssaveyour event-limited Wish Crates for theend of the eventif they contain more than just a single memory.
There are alsointeractive eventsthat involvemini-games, special stages, limited storylines, or otherspecial interactions.
Some events even giveMyth memoriesthat unlock limited-run Myth storylines.
While not available for every limited memory punch in, it’s possible for you to occasionallyreplay Event storylines.
Many log-in events only offer asingle copyof a memory.
