Monster Hunter has never been a solo experience.
Monster Hunter Wilds is a more approachable, if slightly more mindless Monster Hunter.
So Wilds also introduces Hunting Assistants.
These are independent of NPC Support Hunters and work more with the environment and the shifting events within them.
After you complete these quests,both Gemma and Werner become available as Hunting Assistants.
Except the game doesn’t actually explain what that means.
This means that you might’t use them whenever you would like or choose where they will appear.
you could verify if a Hunting Assistant is active bychecking the Environment Overview tab in the map.
Both Hunting Assistants are a great help,but Werner has the more unique rig by far.
Monster Hunter continues to be well and alive after almost two decades.
With so many titles, it can be confusing to know how to play them in order.
