How To Unlock The Astrolabe Card
You’ll be tasked with unlocking theAstrolabe Major Cardin a quest.
to make it begin the quest, you’ll need to locate anAstrolabe Site of Power.
These can be found inAbeyance Realms.
The sites of power use atemple icon, so look for these on your map.
Once you reach the required gear score, you’ll be able to enter the site of power.
On each level of the site, you’ll beattacked by various enemies guarding the floors.
You’ll need to look for a button nearby toactivate the mechanism.
Activating this will trigger a boss fight against aFabled Automaton Bishop.
This boss can shoot projectiles at you, andsmaller automatons will fight alongside it.
It’s helpful tohave a recruit fighting with youso that they can help in lessening the number of enemies.
Releasing this willunlock the ability to craft the Astrolabe card.
Once you unlock the Astrolabe card, you’ll receive anew quest to unlock the Provisioner card.
you’ve got the option to buy the schematics for a Simple Enchanter’s Focus from anEssence Trader.
Under Realm Cards, you’ll find all thedifferent biome, minor, and major cardsyou can craft.
Search for theAstrolabe Cardon the list.
Paper can be made usingtwo wood bundleson aSimple Saw Table.
Essence Dust can be farmed fromcollecting resources, killing mobs, or by extracting it from itemsin your inventory.
Once you create the Astrolabe Card, you’ll find it in yourRealm Cards tab in your inventory.
How To Open An Astrolabe Realm
To open an Astrolabe Realm, you’ll need aportal.
you might craft aCrude Realm Portal or you might use a Fae Portal.
Is The Astrolabe Card Worth It?
When it comes toupgrading your gear score, the Astrolabe Realm isnot worth visiting.
The Essence Traders here do not offer anything newwhen it comes to the crafting stations.
Also, Essence Traders in the Astrolabe Realms fromdifferent biomeswill have different things in stock.
Not all Essence Traders in a single realmwill have the same stock.
You may have totalk to all the Essence Tradersto see what each different Astrolabe biome has to offer.
Another reason you might want to visit the Astrolabe realm, is togain experience facing more difficult dangers.
As you unlock more realms, you might find that thelater major cards will offer a more difficult experience.
The Astrolabe realms offer amore challenging experiencecompared to the Abeyance and the Antiquarian realms.
