While its not always clear how to start obtaining a certain material, this can lead to confusion.
Among the various craftable materials in this game, Steel Ingot is one of them.
This guide is here to help you learn exactly how to craft Steel Ingot in both ways.
But before we start, there are a few things you should probably unlock from the Memetics menu.
First,unlock both theBronze PickaxesandForging TechniquesMemetics from the Infrastructure tree.
Next,you’ll need to farm a lot of Iron Ore using the Bronze Pickaxe.
These can be commonly found after you reach theIron River, which is just north of the Daytona Wetlands.
I find it easy to collect at least 300 Iron Ores in less than 15 minutes.
Now, so that craft Steel Ingots,you’ll need a furnace,of course.
However, if you opt for an electric furnace, it’s a bit more demanding.
First, you’ll need tounlock the Electro Refining Memeticfrom the Memetics menu to build it.
