Knowing what purpose each station has will help you get out on the road faster.
So, here’s a look at the essential parts of the Auto Shop.
TheCharging StationandTinker Stationare a few machines that will help you with that goal.
The charging station will recharge your battery to full without any consequences.
The Tinker Station will help youdiagnose quirks your car will acquirewhile out in the zones.

Every time you get back to the Auto Shop,remember to refuel your car.
To the right of the Gas Pump isthe Paint Shelf.
The Paint Shelf is where you’ll store all your paints and decals.
You probably don’t want 20 spray cans of black paint.
It is where you’ll keep different steering wheels, antennas, shifters, bobbleheads, and more.
Self-Healing
You’re going to take a beating every now and then while out in the zones.
Luckily, the Auto Shop comes equipped with alimitless First Aid Station.
Your Car & Planning Routes
Next to the garage door isthe Status Monitor.
Next to the Status Monitor is the Route Planner.
Here, you’ll scan locations that you’re free to visit on your next journey.
Despite the gadget’s name, whatever location you choose isn’t where youhaveto go.
Funky Music
In the corner of the Auto Shop is a radio.
you might change the volume, choose between different stations, or just leave it off.
It’s your choice.
But if you want to feel like a true mechanic, put on some tunes while you work.
It will give you back a percentage of the parts used to craft an item.
Keep in mind,it’s not a 1:1 ratio on the return.
But it’s still a very useful machine.
Itdoesn’t seem to workwith items given to you by theFriendly Dumpster.
Well… not every item.
So, you will probably destroy more things than you restore, but that’s video games!
This is where you’ll craft almost everything; from tools to car parts.
Once you’ve crafted a blueprint, you’ll be able to craft it in the Workbench.
There’san upgrade it’s possible for you to make to it called the Workbench V2.
It’s mostly just a prerequisite to crafting higher-tier blueprints.
What’s A Fax Machine?
That’s the gist of it, anyway.
Where’s The Storage?
You store your items in Pacific Drive in Storage Lockers.
You canincrease your storagethroughout the Auto Shop bybuilding more of themthan the initial one you start with.

The Upgrade Room
There’s one room that houses numerous machines that areintegral to the game.
One of those machines is theFabrication Station.
It allows you to craft different blueprints,which are essentially upgrades.
Upgrades for your car, the Auto Shop, your tools, and more.

One of the things you’ll be able to craft at the Fabrication Station isthe Outfitting Station.
This is where you’ll upgrade your charactermore accurately,upgrade the clothes they wear.
Don’t forget to check in on this machine.
Upgrading your character so they can survive longer in harsh environments is very helpful.
Do you have a bunch of junk lying around in the Auto Shop?
Thankfully, you have a high-tech vacuum available.
It will also suck up the Transfer Trunk and basketball.
The game will tell you nothing about it.
It isessentially only for the sending of quest-related items.
So, don’t worry about it until the game tells you to.
The Locked Door
You might’ve noticed the locked door in the Auto Shop.
Nothing can be done about it until youreach a certain point in the storyline.
