Unlike the Mid-Zone and Outer-Zone, you’ll be pushed to the brink of your potential.
Don’t underestimate the Deep Zone, because it won’t underestimate you.
What Is The Deep Zone?
When viewing the Route Planner, theDeep-Zoneis at the very top left of the map.
It is the smallest of the three zones, having only nine destinations to visit.
It will be unlocked via a story mission near the tail end of the game.
You’ll find the Deep-Zone an unforgiving place.
Give it a try.
Once you do, you’ll be given several instructions on what to do next.
First, you’ll need to craft theLIM Shield.
Oppy will provide you with the blueprint via Oppy’s Pneumatube next to the Fabrication Station.
The LIM Shield acts as a bumper for your car.
You’ll be able to toggle it as a car ability.
Once toggled, it will form a shield surrounding your car, protecting it from physical harm.
From there, it’s possible for you to travel to the OId Wall.
Interact with it, and assign the LIM Shield to your preferred button.
It’ll lead you to a tower where you’ll need to flip a switch.
Once the switch is flipped, you’re ready to start connecting the circuits.
This is essentially a race made up offour laps.
On each lap, you’ll drive through four checkpoints, connecting them all.
Time is of the essence.
If you take too long, you’ll need to restart the current lap you’re on.
Throughout the race, you’ll also need to drive past pillars glowing with yellow energy.
Throughout the race, your LIM Shield will be your primary mode of protection.
The course is littered with dangerous anomalies that will severely damage your car if you aren’t careful.
The main anomalies you’ll face areDevil Grinders.
The shield will protect you from most of the damage.
However, it will take a heavy toll on your car’s battery.
So, verify to toggle it only when you need it.
Get back in your car, drive through the gate, and into the checkpoint with blue lights.
Once you load in, take a moment.
Examine your car, assess the damage, and figure out what needs fixing.
You’ll likely have taken a beating from the race you just did.
You’ll be instructed to head to aStabilization Towerin thecentre of the map.
Head to the tower and flip the switch to activate the stabilizer.
Once you do so, you’ll have to immediately evacuate the destination andhead to the gateway.
We’ll tell you where to find the coveted Marsh Eggs in Pacific Drive.
