You’re locked out of the room until you know the code.
You’ll have to progress through the story to unlock the door.
After completing the mission,Mid-Zone Crossing, the code will be given to you.
Once back at the Auto Shop, head to the keypad and interact with it.
Your character will automatically enter the code, and, voila, open sesame.

To progress through the story, you’ll have to investigate the bathroom behind the locked door.
Thebathroom will have a few interactable objects, such as the sink, toilet, and hand dryer.
Interact with the hand dryer, and a hidden door will open next to the sink.
Head through the door, and you’ll find a secret room.
Within the room, you’ll find two important things.
One of them is ahard drive.
The other one is aschematic for an Arc Doc.
