Those that reward you with Pokemon encounters will give you the opportunity to catch one of six event-themed Pokemon.
This includesAlolan Vulpix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Cutiefly, Mawile, and Carbink.
Additionally, completing certain Event Field Research Tasks will reward you with Mega Energy for certain Fairy-throw in Pokemon.
This includes both Gardevoir Mega Energy and Altaria Mega Energy.

Completing these Collection Challenges will provide you withXP, Stardust, and an encounter with Carbink as rewards.
