Does Triumphant Light give you those better options?
Which ex Pokemon truly shine in this set?
Let’s find out.
Triumphant Lights Clefairy is a second version ofthe original Clefairy that first released in Genetic Apex.
The biggest difference is that it has a cost of two Energy to attack.
For one more Energy than the original printing, you’re free to do an additional ten damage.
This is a trend that continues once it Evolves into Clefable.
6Gastly
A Disruptive Start
Coin flip Moves usually let you deal a bit more damage.
However, there are some that let you get away with some pretty nasty effects.
Gastly has one of these Moves.
Make your Pshycic deck even stronger by including these Mythical Island cards of the same jot down.
This Move is pretty good if you’ve got the option to land the flip.
The fact that it has a Colorless cost also means you might technically fit it into any deck.
The downside is that Gastly doesnt do damage.
At two Energy, you already have everything you gotta Evolve it and continue using it.
40 damage for two Energy isnt fantastic, but it works if youre climbing up the Evolutions.
This makes it good for making Gengar decks slightly easier to put together for newer players.
4Clefable
Absorbing Damage Every Turn
60 damage for three Energy seems steep at first glance.
Luckily, Clefable has other redeeming qualities that make this Move worth paying for.
For starters, its cost only really requires one Psychic Energy while the other two can be Colorless.
Psychic Pokemon steal the show in the Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown set.
Once you use Moonblast once, Clefable gains protection during the next turn.
So any Move that hits it will do 30 less damage.
This makes Clefables 100 HP capable of withstanding extra hits before hitting zero.
Unown can deal 20 damage for one Colorless Energy.
With no Evolutions, this card can fit perfectly into any deck you want to splash it into.
This Gengar has 140 HP and can let you put your opponents Pokemon to Sleep while dealing 70 damage.
Of all the wonderful promotional cards in Pokemon Pocket, which one has the best artwork?
Sleep at least has the potential of preventing your opponents Active Pokemon from attacking or Retreating.
It gains free Retreat through this combo.
Is it worth it though?
Rotom can hit the Bench for 20 damage on only one Colorless Energy.
This makes it compatible with any deck that you want to slip Arceus into.
It also makes any deck dual-throw in if you use it as tech.
Rotom gives Arceus a way to consistently make Cyrus viable.
Hit a Pokemon on the Bench with Dash attack to make it a target.
