You either need to intuit the answer, or remember it from an earlier piece of information.
For the first question, you are asked how many victims died in the plague that struck Silent Hill.
This is mentioned once,on a plaque commemorating the event in Moonlight Grove.
The second question asks you about the only road that connects Sanders Street to Silent Hill Ranch.
This is the only answer you’ve got the option to check on during the quiz.
And as you’re about to see,you’re able to’t brute force it either.
The other reason this puzzle is so cruel is becauseyou only have a single chance.
While the damage James takes is minimal, a wrong answer will lock the chest permanently.
There’s no shame in that.
The chest has three rows on it, and three buttons on each row.
However,you also can’t go back on any button presseither.
Take solace in the fact that at least you know what’s inside.
This isthe exact same reward as the original Silent Hill 2as well.
