The Toluca Prison is a touch far from reality already, the labyrinth is entirely surreal.
Is Silent Hill 2 still our special place, or has it become a twisted nightmare?
Though it is a labyrinth, so there are no direct routes out.

As you’ll immediately notice, the whole map isn’t actually there.
Instead,it is drawn as you progress, James mapping out the Labyrinth as he moves through it.
It means you have to actually rely on your senses to a higher degree.
Start by walking forward until you come across a hallway filled with writhing arms.
It’s best to avoid this for now.
Instead,turn to the right and save at the red save point on the wall.
Proceeding forward, you will see a vast chasm beyond you, and a locked door opposite it.
Back from the dead,Maria is perfectly fine.
So it seems, anyway.
James is bewildered at her presence, questioning how she is possibly alive still.
Maria dismisses this, baffled at the assertion that she ever died.
you might now return to the main hall.
The face must be orientated correctly for the bridge to connect it.
It won’t work if the head is upside-down, for instance.
Once he is back in the main hall,this door will lock once again.
The cube must be aligned again, though this time in a different orientation than for the first labyrinth.
Enter the central door this time to access theDesolate and Flooded Labyrinth.
The face you are looking for hasan upside-down triangle with a downward facing cross coming from its bottom.
This is not the original face upside down, but the triangle itself.
It’s strikingly similar so it’s easy to get them mixed up.
The symbol used to dive into the first labyrinth will now lead to a table withRifle Rounds.
Aligningthe required symbol for the final labyrinth but upside-downwill lead to an alcove withHandgun Ammo and a Health Drink.
Try even more combinations to see if it’s possible for you to discover anything else.
Because of the shifting nature of the cube,James has a habit of getting stuck on the terrain.
He will typically free himself after a few moments of movement, though be careful with your step anyway.
It is also one of the rare moments in the game where you aregenuinely encouraged to run away.
As you enter the labyrinth, hug the wall that leads upwards on the map.
This will lead to a dead end, but there will be a box ofHandgun Ammohere.
From here, you’ll want to run directly south until you enter the central room of this labyrinth.
There will be a cage suspended above the area, as well as asave point.
stash your game before going any further.
The Lighter Gas
Exit through the eastern door of the central room.
A small alcove in this hallway will give you someRifle RoundsandHandgun Ammo.
From there, travel all the way down to the door, passing through south.
This will lead to another corridor that eventually leads into a smaller room.
Within this room, you’ve got the option to find aHealth Syringe.
You’ll see another door as soon as you enter this corridor.
Pass through that again to enter a smaller room.
In this room, you will find someHandgun Ammo,a Health Syringe, and the Iron Key.
Now use this to burn down the suspended cage and jump into the hole created by it.
You have nowfinished the Rotten Labyrinth.
In this room, you will find some Rifle Rounds.
This brings you tothe Flooded Labyrinth, a shared part of the Desolate Labyrinth with its own map.
This first section of the Flooded area is quite short.
Find someHandgun Ammoat the northern dead end, and then turn around toclimb up the ladder marked I.
Go back up the ladder now and kick off the Handcuffed Gate with the Small Key.
Awire fencewill be ahead of you, though it’s possible for you to’t open it yet.
Go to the right and then proceed south to find James' best friend once again -Pyramid Head.
You must nowdescend back into Pyramid Head’s Inner Sanctum.
While he will be gone, it will be filled with other enemies instead.
Feel free to run right past them to the fence andcut it down with the Wirecutters.
You have now completed the Desolate and Flooded Labyrinth.
It has no save point either, a testament to how short it is.
He is already at his lowest, and you are about to see why.
Except inside, it’s already too late.
There are no words left for James to say, and he struggles to focus on the scene.
Maria left no message, no final words, no gift.She is just dead, again.
Her face is marked by some skin disease, and her hands are fallow and bloody.
Without another word, James leaves.
The labyrinths are now complete, though there isone more surprisewaiting for James at the very end.
