Interact with it and you’ll be presented with a puzzle.
It might look complicated, but it’s actually pretty simple.
There arefour circles, butonly three can be turned.
The outer ring always remains in place.
Simplyline up each circle’s glowing lines with each otherto illuminate a lever in the room.Pull the lever.
You’ll have to do this three times.
Starting with thesecond outermost circleis the quickest way to solve this puzzle.
When youtake a left at the junction, Sam will collapse and start rambling.
You’re thengiven a choice to pickpocket himfor one of two items.
Pouch
If you reach for his pouch, you cantake Sam’s gun.
Thischanges a few outcomes later in the game.
Diary
If youtake his diary, you’ll makea discoverythat allows you to confront Sam shortly after.
You’ll also have to complete aQTE to pick up a piece of paperthat fell onto the floor.
On the other side, you might findthe Murder Mine T-Shirt Artifactandthe Nurse Dead by Daylight Doll.
Not only does this end the chapter, but it counts as anArtifact.
But for now, we’re going back to 1980 to pick up where younger Linda left off.
