Luna Abilities Explained
Improvisation
Casting an ability on a note grants Inspiration.
At max Inspiration, your next skill will be enhanced and consume all of your Inspiration stacks.
Failing to hit a note with max Inspiration will drop four stacks instead.
Inspiration decays after 20 seconds.
Stage Presence
Equip Luna’s unique weapon.
Notes will appear while this gun is equipped.
Hitting the notes increases your Skill Power Modifier.
Failing to hit a note will drain a significant portion of your MP.
You must time your other abilities with notes.
Conversely, if you miss the note, the shot will consume a whopping 50 MP.
Thiscannotbe reduced with MP cost modules.
If you successfully play a song, you’ll gain a stack of Inspiration instead.
Luna’s gun has mediocre base damage but benefits from Skill Critical modules.
Spec forSkill PowerandSkill Power Modifierto enhance her base damage.
Modules such as range, duration, and cooldown do not affect this gun.
Luna herself gains Skill Power Modifier while this song is active.
If enhanced, allies also gain increased Skill Critical stats.
This song plays two different buffs, one for Luna and another for her squad.
This goes for all of her songs, not just this one.
You’ll want to scaleDurationto extend the buff your allies receive andRangeto make the song cover a larger radius.
Pair this with Lepic or Bunny for some incredible burst DPS.

If you cast this skill with max Inspiration,allies will regenerate more MP and gain resource cost reduction.
Luna does not gain the benefits of the enhanced aura.
She gains additional MP recovery on note hit instead.
Cheerful Act
Luna plays a cheerful song, reducing ally cooldowns for its duration.
Luna generates Inspiration with notes instead.
While enhanced, allies have all cooldowns reset and benefit from additional cooldown reduction.
When enhanced, the aura will reset ally cooldowns and further reduce their cooldowns by 40%.
Luna will generate twice as much Inspiration from notes instead.
None of these effects can be modified, so we suggest building forDurationandRange.
Fire only when you better.
Only shoot when needed.
Due to her note mechanic, wedo not recommend you play Luna solo.
Even with her Noise Surge augment, her damage output pales in comparison to most Descendants.
If you want an AoE character, play Bunny or Viessa instead.
We then runSkill Expansion,Time Distribution, andArche Accelerationto extend Luna’s abilities.
Her auras are now much larger and should be much easier to use in combat.
Arche Acceleration also increases your animation speed, making it easier to swap songs.
It’s the only way you’re free to mitigate Luna’s cumbersome kit.
She doesn’t scale well due to hermodding limitations.
