Restoring towns provides several benefits and resources for your party.
Here’s how the process works.
There are two ways to win this fight; defeat the commander, or defeat 50 enemy units.

Aubin’s Vitalize skill is very useful as it allows you to regain stamina instantly.
Hodrick
Hoplite
Hodrick’s high defenses are crucial for taking bottleneck points.
Station him at the southwest or the southeast to avoid the enemy Witches.
Auch
Wizard
Like Rolf, he has a Valor Skill that does damage to enemies on the field.
Have Aubin in Alain’s unit to keep his stamina up.
He doesn’t show up again, so don’t worry about him.
Then have Gilbert and one other unit take control of the catapults.
Your first priority willbe the four Arbalists in the southeastso they don’t disable assists from your units.
Station aRadiant Knight with a Warrior in their uniton the bridge.
In the southwest, you’ll have to deal with five Wyvern Knights and four Swordbreakers to start with.
Position a Wizard at the Mantlet and have himuse the Valor Skill Blaze to damage enemies on the way.
This isn’t necessary to win the fight, but you’ll defeat the enemies faster.
