This is a high-damage allrounder unit meant todeal specifically with Hoplites and Gryphons.
Give the Archer aFlame Bowand the Wizard theChloroticstaff to double up on Burning.
Set the Wizard’sFire Burst to prioritise Burningenemies to make use of its special effect.
Primarily, this will be the unit you use totake down the Hoplites and Sellswords defending Avague Village.
Give the Cleric aFamiliar’s Chokerif you have one to boost the Witch’s offence.
Make theKnight the leader.
These units also need to be able to fight enemies, somake sure they’re equipped for battle.
Fighter
Gladiator
You will also need a formation meant to deal with aspecific threatfar later in the stage.
This enemy is so powerful that the best way to beat him is tobuild around his skills entirely.
Also,make him the Leaderfor increased movement speed.
Before unpausing, deploy the following: yourBoss Killer, Triple Threat, and Magic Hoplite units.
There will be two to beat, but they’ll fall quickly to the Boss Killer setup listed above.
You may need toheal up the Warriorin between battles, but that’s what healing tonics are for!
You’ll also get aSilver Hourglass, which will be very useful later.
As you approach Avague Village, more units will probably spawn nearby.
You’ll get aWind Faerie’s Charmfor occupying Avague.
After beating Renault’s formation, you’ll obtain theCrimson Sarissa, which is a nice spear.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the end of the stage - there’s one more opponent to tackle.
This is why we made theBoss Killer unit, which serves as a great counter.
Send the Boss Killer up to Galeriusand engage him.
If you have aspare Lapis Pendant, giving him one is also a good idea.
For beating Galerius, you’ll get aCarnelian Pendant, which will increase a unit’s AP by one.
In addition, you’ll getScarlettback (albeit under-levelled) and unlocktwo new countries to explore.
These RPGs take you back to the medieval period.
