Which spells are the best though?
This will include spells from all six classes of magic.
As with any tier list, there is no ‘correct’ order of spells.
If one of your favorites places low on this list, don’t worry!
Use whatever spells you like the most.
Some skills are great for PvP, while others are only helpful in PvE (or solo) content.
These skills all involve the same dash mechanic and can be used outside of battle.
S-Tier Spells
First up, we have S-tier skills.
These are thebest of the bestand prove useful in most situations.

Reason For Ranking
As an ultimate spell, Crimson Beam was made powerful.
With Leech and healing abilities, this spell is great in a variety of situations.
Shielding skills are essential when taking on bosses, with Ward of the Damned being the best option.
This is due to the summoning ability, causing up to 5 skeletons to spawn.
Void is an essential AoE/crowd control ability.
With pulling abilities, you’re free to deal damage to multiple enemies at the same time.
Summoning skills are very powerful, and Death Knight is no exception.
This skill is essential if you are fighting a tough boss in PvE.
As a summoning spell, this will also be helpful for crowd control and overall increasing your damage output.
This ultimate spell protects and heals you (or an ally) while dealing damage at the same time.
While you won’t be able to move, it’s ideal when facing a group of enemies.
This is a classic spell that shoots two bolts, dealing damage and Igniting enemies.
Although it’s not the strongest, it’s a solid option for early to mid-game content.
For the most part, Storm spells aren’t the strongest, but Ball Lightning is an exception.
This is a powerful AoE that causes the Static effect while dealing damage.
Spectral Guardian is an ultimate Illusion Magic spell that summons a powerful guardian that attacks and shields you.
Again, summoning skills are great, especially in PvE content when you are playing alone.
Blood magic spells are all great, with Heart Strike serving as one of the ultimate spells.
This will deal damage and heal, which is an ideal combination.
This Unholy Magic ultimate spell not only summons a giant spider, but it will also summon exploding spiderlings.
This is another Blood Magic spell that heals while dealing damage.
Overall, any skill that does both at the same time is great.
Like Void (mentioned in S-tier), this is ideal for grouping up enemies.
This Chaos Magic ultimate spell deals a lot of damage, but it’s not too out-of-the-ordinary.
This spell launches four orbs, but there are better ultimate spells out there.
Frost Barrier blocks damage, but isn’t too exceptional when compared to other blocking abilities.
Still, the Chill effect can come in handy in some situations.
Once again, this is a Blood Magic spell that heals and deals damage.
This Chaos Magic blocking spell will block damage and deal a relatively small amount of damage.
In terms of blocking spells, Ward of the Damned is by far the best.
This is a unique spell that drains the life of enemies, which in turn heals you.
Soulburn also silences enemies.
As such, this is a great spell to bolster your defenses.
Corrupted Skull launches a projectile while summoning a skeleton.
This spell isn’t bad, but there are better Unholy Magic spells to choose from.
C-Tier Spells
For the most part, C-tier spells areweaker than all the other skills mentioned above.
This is another average blocking ability that does not deal damage.
This spell doesn’t deal damage; instead, it boosts you or an ally’s movement and attack.
This can be helpful, but if you are already strong enough, then this skill isn’t helpful.
Again, we have another projectile skill.
With Aftershock, you might deal a line of damage leading to the targeted enemies.
This deals a fair amount of damage, but enemies can easily just walk out of its path.
This is the blocking spell for Blood Magic.
Blood Rite blocks and heals while pushing enemies away.
Wraith Spear causes you to dash forward and launch a projectile.
Like many other spells in this tier, it’s not bad; it’s just average.
The wisps can be fired, but the damage isn’t impressive here either.
This will launch a slow projectile, but there are better Blood Magic skills out there.
Another spell that summons an average projectile!
This spell launches a projectile, causing you to swap places with the target.
This isn’t always needed, and won’t work against bosses.
If you do target a boss, you will instead just be teleported to them.
